Labour is now the largest political party in Europe and the dramatic growth in membership seen all over the country has been mirrored in the membership of both Cambridge CLP and our local branch in Newnham. There was a dramatic increase in support after the general election in 2015 and membership has continued to grow since then. In Newnham, our membership stood at around 80 at the time of the general election. It grew rapidly soon after that and it’s still growing. Last year, it rose from 214 to 241
