Residents of Newnham are more likely to cycle to work than residents of any other ward in the city.

Newnham is served by a reasonable network of cycle lanes but cycling black spots persist on some of our routes into the city, such as the Royal Cambridge Hotel junction, where traffic lights have been suggested in the past yet nothing has been done.
