The weather held out for us at Newnham Labour on Saturday as we set up our street stall on Chedworth Street to talk to local residents about the issues that really matter to them. Several members of the Newnham Labour team were present along with Labour’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, Daniel Zeichner.

Issues discussed ranged from the provision of dog-litter bins in Newnham Croft to concerns about leisure provision across the ward. Many residents also signed our Newnham Labour petition against the potential privatisation of Cambridgeshire Community Services, which we will be presenting to the Clinical Commissioning Group later in the month.
