  • MP for Cambridge

In May 2015, Daniel Zeichner was elected as Labour MP for Cambridge with a small majority (599). After two years during which he was recognised as a hard working local MP who fights hard in parliament for the issues that matter to his Cambridge constituents, he was re-elected in the general election of June 2017 with a greatly increased majority of 12,661 (52%). Daniel  is widely recognised as an effective campaigner against Brexit. He sits on the Science and Technology Select Committee. He is an executive member of Labour’s environmental campaigning group, SERA, and a member of Labour’s National Policy Forum and Scientists for Labour.
